This application is an easy-to-use calendar designed to remind about birthdays,various anniversaries and other events. - The days of the events are marked; the cycling of events can be a year or a month. - Any day of the week can be chosen as the first one. - As background of the calendar you can use photos from gallery. - There is a built-in editor with list-sorting by name or by date, and quickly navigate to the contact book. - Memos are shown in the form of notifications on the phone’s status bar or popups. App only displays in the 0° portrait orientation! Even Google says apps should support all orientations unless there is a very good reason not to. If only portrait must be supported, then support both 0° (portrait) and 180° (reverse portrait). Developers need to remember that there are more devices out there than just phones (some which also need 180° orientation).
Works well & easy to use. Pitty though, the background graphics reflecting the seasons of the year are fixed on northern hemisphere. As a supporter of this program & living in the southern hemisphere, to me, this program is not quite tailored for global market. It's a small to criticise, but it is an equally small thing to correct. As the world is becoming an increasingly global society, such programs offered internationally, should also reflect the same. I am often amused by such frequent oversights.
